If this is something you are thinking about doing, spend some time doing research to make sure you fully understand what you are getting yourself into.
While it's true that money can be made from filling in on-line surveys, you have to have been doing it for a long time to have access to the lucrative surveys. Initially, the surveys you get will pay out a few cents, average is about 10c. Unless you fill out the survey immediately it reaches your inbox, you will find that often, you can't complete the form because they have had enough entries.
Even though you fill in a comprehensive profile for each survey site, you will also find that you are excluded from filling in a lot of surveys because you don't match their target audience.
And then there are the emails that you will be bombarded with! Hundreds a day. So, if you are thinking about filling in surveys to make some extra income, do some basic research first so you know what to expect.
